COSTILLAS CON SALSA BARBACOA

COSTILLAS CON SALSA BARBACOA

INGREDIENTES (4 personas): 1 kilo de costillas de cerdo, 1 lata de refresco de cola, 4 cucharadas soperas de miel, 4 cucharadas soperas de ketchup, 4 cucharaditas de pasas, 2 hojas de laurel, pimienta negra y sal. 

  • Poner las pasas en agua. Cuando estén hidratadas escurrirlas y reservarlas. 
  • En una sartén poner el refresco de cola, la miel, las hojas de laurel, las pasas y el ketchup y poner sobre fuego medio. Remover de vez en cuando hasta que la salsa esté bien mezclada y haya espesado. Reservar.
  • En una rejilla de horno colocar extendidas las costillas de cerdo y salpimentarlas. Con un pincel de cocina untar las costillas con la salsa barbacoa.
  • Precalentar el horno a 200º durante 10 minutos e introducir las costillas. Colocar la rejilla sobre una bandeja para que la salsa vaya cayendo sobre ella. 
  • Sacar las costillas, darles la vuelta y volver a untarlas con salsa barbacoa. Bajar el horno a 180º e introducirlas 15 minutos.
  • Repetir la operación anterior 1 vez más y servir.
  • Recoger la salsa que haya caído en la bandeja del horno, mezclarla con la salsa barbacoa restante y servirla en cada plato.

ACOMPAÑANTES: Este plato se puede servir con puré de patata, patatas fritas o asadas. También se puede servir con una ensalada verde o con palitos de queso rebozados.


TRUCOS: Se le puede añadir a la salsa barbacoa media cucharadita de mostaza.
Se recomienda no poner muy alto el grill o se quemará la salsa sobre las costillas.


TIEMPO DE PREPARACIÓN: 1 hora 




BBQ RIBS 

INGREDIENTS (4 Servers): 1 kilo of pork ribs, 1 can of soda, 4 tablespoons of honey, 4 tablespoons of ketchup 4 teaspoons of raisins, 2 bay leaves, black pepper and salt.


  • Put the raisins in water. When are hydrated drain them and set them aside.
  • In a pan put the, the honey, the bay leaves, the raisins and ketchup and put it over medium heat. Stir occasionally until sauce is well blended and thickened. Set aside. 
  • Put over an oven rack the ribs and season them. With a basting brush coat the ribs with barbecue sauce.
  • Preheat oven to 200 ° for 10 minutes and enter the ribs. Place the rack over a baking tray so that the sauce go down on it.
  • Remove the ribs, turn them over and coat them  again  with barbecue sauce. Lower the oven to 180 degrees and place them in for 15 minutes.
  • Repeat the step above one more time and serve hot.
  • Collect the sauce that has fallen into the baking tray, mix with the remaining barbecue sauce, and serve on each plate.


SIDE DISHES: This dish can be served with mashed potatoes, fries or roasted potatoes. 
It can be served with a green salad or cheese fingers.


TIPS: You can add to the BBQ sauce half teaspoon of mustard.
It is recommended not to put too high grill or burn the sauce over the ribs.
