HOJALDRE DE PERA Y QUESO DE CABRA
INGREDIENTES (4 personas): 1 lámina de masa de hojaldre, dos peras medianas maduras, 200 gramos de queso rulo de cabra, 3 lonchas de pechuga o jamón de pavo y 1 huevo (opcional).
- Se pelan las peras, se cortan en trozos medianos y se reservan.
- Se corta el queso en rodajas y se reserva.
- Se cortan las lonchas de pechuga en trozos pequeños y se reserva.
- En una superficie plana y limpia se extiende un trozo de papel vegetal (apto para el horno) y se extiende encima la lámina de hojaldre.
- Sobre el centro de la lámina de hojaldre colocamos los ingredientes que hemos reservado, las peras, el queso de cabra y las lonchas de pechuga de pavo, dejando los bordes de la masa libres.
- Envolvemos los ingredientes con los laterales de la masa de hojaldre hasta haberlos cubierto totalmente.
- Batimos el huevo y lo extendemos por la parte de arriba del hojaldre (este paso no es necesario, pero al hacerlo conseguiremos que la masa de hojaldre se dore y quede sabrosa y crujiente).
- Introducimos la masa al horno, precalentado durante 10 minutos a 200º, y horneamos durante 15-20 minutos. Servir inmediatamente.
ACOMPAÑAMIENTOS: Este plato se puede servir con una bola de nata montada (sin azúcar o con ella). También queda delicioso y muy original con una bola de helado de nata o vainilla.
TRUCOS: La pechuga de pavo puede sustituirse por jamón de york.
Se le puede añadir dátiles para darle un sabor más dulce.

PUFF PASTRY WITH PEAR AND GOAT CHEESE
INGREDIENTS (4 serves): 1 sheet puff pastry, to ripe medium pears, 200 gr of goat cheese, 3 slices of turkey breast or ham, 1 egg (optional).
- Peel the pears, cut into medium pieces and set aside.
- Cut the cheese into slices and set aside.
- Cut the slices of turkey breast into small pieces and set aside.
- On a flat clean surface spread a piece of baking paper (suitable for the oven) and spread over it the sheet of puff pastry.
- Put over the center of the sheet the ingredients we reserved before, the pears, the cheese and the turkey breast, leaving free the edges of the mass.
- Wrap the ingredients with the mass until cover them completely.
- Beat the egg and cover with it the top of the pastry (this is not a necessary step, but if done the puff pastry will be golden brown, crispy and delicious).
- Introduce the mass in the oven, preheated for 10 minutes at 200º, and bake for 15-20 minutes. Serve inmediatly.
SIDE DISHES: This dish can be served with a scoop of whipped cream (with or without sugar).
It is also delicious and very original with a scoop of cream or vanilla ice-cream.
TIPS: The turkey breast can be substituted by ham.
You can add dates to get a sweeter taste.
